A joint effort by Waterfront Toronto and Alphabet’s Sidewalk Labs was announced this week in a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Premier Kathleen Wynne, Mayor John Tory and CEO of Sidewalks Labs, Dan Doctoroff. The result will be a new kind of mixed-use, complete community on Toronto’s Eastern Waterfront. 

Heatherwick Studio, along with Beyer Blinder and Belle Architects & Planners (BBB), Brookfield Financial Real Estate Group, BuroHappold, Deloitte, Partnership for Architecture and Urbanism (PAU), Waterstudio, Jason Polan and Mark Wickens contributed to the RFP submission.
